After spending a decade of studying and interning with Avant Garde designers Alexander McQueen and Hussein Chalayan, Kirsty traveled abroad while working as senior designer for fashion label Karen Millen.
Kirsty rediscovered her passion for storytelling & photography during the treatment of her mother's terminal cancer in 2008. Emersing herself deeper into photography to help with the grieving process, she embarked on a revered 6 year series entitled "Wonderland" created in her mother's memory.
"Because of my camera I have walked on snow covered in flowers, stood in lakes at sunset, painted trees, set fire to chairs, made smoking umbrellas and giant wigs from stolen flowers. I have laughed, been overwhelmed, and left in awe of all the things I had previously passed unnoticed until now..." - Kirsty
Kirsty's works have been published throughout the world, including features by Harper's Bazaar, Vogue Italia and
The Royal Photographic Society.
"When I discovered Kirsty's work- I was instantly moved and felt a connection to her passion of visually perfecting her personal vision of the human spirit brought to life in fairytale-like, storybook characters. Her journey mesmerizes me. A talent born from love." -lisa
